FYI - Costco in Southampton

For those that are interested and didn't know, there's now a Costco in Southampton. Not useful to everyone, but they have some decent deals on tools and other bits and bobs.

There were some nice looking tool chests (around £300 mark from memory), and a 4L tub of swarfega for about £7 seemed a good deal as well.

I've got a trade membership so popped in last week in the morning. Never seen a Costco so quiet. It was heaven

I was in the one in Toronto a couple years back and was surprised how much of the stuff was the same as over here.

The roll cabs felt really good quality from what I could tell. Seemed better quality than anything in Halfords (including the industrial black range), but you obviously have to get it home. Next time I'm in, I'll try to take a picture and get some prices.

I never seem to get out of Costco without it costing me an arm and a leg. However, I've got enough Tabasco sauce to see me through the next decade

son bought toolboxes from Costco. Excellent quality, better than my Halfords ones.
