anyone here with a bit of cad knowledge?

Trying to draw these milled recesses (to make this part lighter) but have no idea how to go about it. I thought about drawing circles and joining them up but I'm not too good at this I'm just about getting to grips with drawing standard flanges.

They're off Yamaha TZ250 Carbon Cans, want to replicate them as they're not sold anymore.

These recesses are inside the can once assembled right?

Being lazy, why bother putting them in? You'll save more weight by going commando

These are for a quite original race bike. If you know much a bout TZ's they go for silly money, and people do want these carbon cans exact.

Also the more weight in the can, the quicker you wear the holes in the carbon sleeve out

If you draw two circles at each end of the arc, then two arcs connecting them, then trim the unwanted semi circles ?

Nyc cnc on youtube is very good with his tutorials on this programme.

Just trim the redundant halves of the circle out there that you've already got in, then extrude the profiles (use a negative so it cuts).
Or send me the file, I'm doing a load of CAD work tonight anyway.
