Fuel prices

This might be a daft question, but do fuel, (diesel etc.), prices tend to vary notably between North and South, or are they fairly similar as a rule?

petrol 127.9 and diesel 132.7 in hull

I think we're around 133 on diesel here. Going on a run down South in the morning, and just trying to decide whether to top the tank off before I go, (not a fan of doing that, to be honest), in case it'll be notably more expensive to do a fill down there. I rarely venture too far, so not sure what the price differential is.

Little difference to the North and East then. If it works the same going down the **** end of the country, sounds like there's not likely to be much difference.

Sweet. 100 mile or so radius seems fairly static on prices, so it's likely my **** won't be puckering if I fill up down there. Cheers chaps. I'll resist doing the usual Northerner trick before I set off, and just fill up when I need to down there.

127.9 unleaded and 135.9 diesel, unless you shop at my local privately owned station where unleaded is 144.9 and diesel is 159.9!!!!

that is in Newport south wales, but i have noticed that fuel in other parts of south wales is more expensive, blackwood and Oakdale spring to mind, a good few pence per litre higher last time i was out that way

Working on a price of 140 against 133, for £50 worth of fuel, that'd only make a couple of litres difference, or thereabouts?

ive been a member of this since it started and get regular emails with the cheapest fuel locations

Just had a quick check on that site, and it appears there's only a couple of pence tops per litre difference between here and there. That's a handy site. It's not until you start thinking about a trip that you realise how hard it is to find a decent site for getting prices.

I can still remember someone saying, a few years ago, that it wouldn't be long before fuel topped a pound per litre. Seemed an extravagant statement at the time.

we wish it was a pound a litre cant remember what it cost when I passed my test but would love to go back the that price what ever it was
