I am the happy owner of a Fronius magic wave 2000 fuzzy tig welder. I thought that perhaps we could have a thread for owners and operators of these excellent Austrian machines to help share information and tips.

Hi Andy, welcome to the forum.
There's so few Fronius posts on here it doesn't really warrant a separate section so anything Fronius related belongs in the general 'welders and welding machines' section, which is where I've moved this one to.
You will be better off placing an ad in the wanted section of the classifieds as this thread will soon get pushed down the list,

I have a fronius 317 mig. It's a very nice machine but I can't really see why a separate section would be useful, I've had it five years and never had to ask a question!

I've got quite a few redundant Fronius torches and a lot of consumables (ceramics, back caps collets) I've got both air cooled and water cooled "Up Down" torches with the 4 buttons on that are all surplus to requirements now. (I had 9 Fronius tigs on my hire fleet, of the 5 I've kept I converted them all to take Binzel torches with the same connections as EWM to make it more straightforward)

Good choice on buying a Fronius by the way, they really are excellent.

I have just traded a TP4000 for a magicwave 2200. Only have had a few runs with it but it seemed to do extremely well also on stick (Oerlikon special Rods) this morning. The TP4000 was way to large for me with a 30 meter cord to the wirefeed unit -- would have been nice if I owned a shipyard.

Hi another here for the magicwave 2000 fuzzy with fk2000 water cooler. I'm just getting used to the layout but had some gorgeous results with it tonight on the Ali. Real top notch machine. I'm very interested in a up/down switch water cooled torch if there is any out there for sale.

Not yet sorry was out all day demoing, I've got about 6 in various conditions, but not had a chance to call Parweld yet.

Hey guys, another magicwave 2000 fuzzy here great peace of kit, also keen for a 2 button torch and foot pedal, do you have to fit a fronius pedal or can you use another?

TR52 pedal I'm afraid... specific gubbins in them from what I understand

The same set I have is up for sale on eBay,£1650 is abit high without pedal and cooler I thought.
