Friction saw stand

Hi again , ive got a friction saw that has a bed hight of 90mm from the bench , i need to knock up a couple of rests for ether side of it , to rest whatever im cutting on so as to help keep it level , any ideas ? , besides blocks of wood ! , ta.....
