Couldn't find my original post.
Was looking for a couple of replacement blades for milwaukee circular saw, read some dire reviews for some of the freud blades.
Bought them anyway, they are way better than the Milwaukee and the cheapies I got from toolstation were not fit to cut cheese.
I can only assume the reviews I looked at where made by folk who shouldn't be allowed near a tool due to them being one.
I got a general 24t one and a fine 40t one, I haven't actually needed to put the fine one on.
So far I've used it to cut full end panels for tall kitchen units, that was about 6months ago, it's been on the saw since then, used it for general stuff, bit of hole making in floors, about a month ago I thought I had my monies worth and started chopping up pallets and random wood to go in the log store, nicked a couple of nails along the way, it's never burnt anything even at full depth cut with scrap wood.
Not bored yet
Today I had a bit of kitchen unit to re model to fit bigger cooker, owner wasn't fussy so thought I would give it a go with old blade.
Cut worktop from wrong side as it was still attached to unit, small trim of another, last one was cut correct way, all freehand with pencil mark and finger on edge for guide.
So basically I'm now a big fan of freud saw blades
