Freelander clutch today

So today was mostly spent changing the clutch on my freelander

Now it wasn't that bad to do, with help and some big jacks, but you can see some good bits and bad bits

I was mostly impressed with the mounting of the IRD, I think Brunel himself must have designed and cast them, proper heavy duty engineering

Just the VCU to dismantle, clean and weld back together, sod paying someone £200 to do it

To save any other non Freelander types googling VCU its a viscous coupling unit, sounds obvious when you see it.

Cut the end off, clean all the goop out, rebuild and weld together and inject new silicone fluid, bolt or weld the hole and reattach

Should be fun
