The other week I got my hands on this pressure washer.



It worked, so it was put to hard work.
Used at least 2 times a week and for about 3 hours each time. Yesterday when I was washing down an engine it died.
Motor sounded like it was seized and trying to run.
So up on the bench.
The motor was free, the pump was working. So open the electrics part.




Hmmm I wonder what can be wrong.





As it was free and I have another one it will be stripped for spares and scrap.

the loverly expanded capicitor fault

I put a capacitor in one I found in a skip and ran it for 2 years no problem then the pump got stuck. A capacitor was only £7.

If I didn't have another one I would consider spending some money on it.
I was given it for free and in the time I have owned it the machine has been worked hard.

The machine is the same as the one I own and so parts will be robed.
