Yes, cleared all those.

you may have adware dropped within your browser as ive seen it and removed it before on other computers

you need to go into your browser settings and extensions to find it though

if not there look within programs

but it helps if you know what adware or program thats making the redirect im not near the other computer otherwise i could show you the pic of an adware dropped onto google chrome

but if not so sure best way is to type each program or extension name into google and search for it until you find the spam or adware

Tried the Chrome reset and when I clicked on the desktop short-cut it opened a tab "secure-surf.net"

Closed that tab and Google was opened in a new tab. Then a fresh tab for "blue-motion" something opened.......

EDIT: just logged out and back in and it's 'normal' now......

Ohhh, no it isn't [Churchill Dog voice]. From doing a bit of poking around, I've found and installed "Forest: stay focused, be present" which, if I've read correctly, will allow me to input URL of nuisance site(s) and permanently block them. #fingerscrossed

If anyone knows of a guaranteed [and easy for a Numpty ] way of permanently blocking rubbish, please chip in.
