Forklift ATF?

My recently acquired hyster 2.5-3ton ish forklift is needing some transmission oil but I can not for the life of me find out what type I need. It’s a fairly older with a hydrostatic trans so I am told

Is it hydrostatic or torque converter? Most older ones are torque converter. Hydrostatic transmission normally uses the hydraulic oil as a common fluid.

hydrostats take hydraulic oil, in general...

You'll know if its a hydrostat or not, by the way it moves. A hydrostat, the pedal feels connected directly to the drive. (apart from the newest ones like Linde where everything is electronic)
