Forklift adapter plate

One for the heavy brigade.
Here's the first project with 400 amps to play with, an adapter plate for one tractor loader to take quick hitch buckets etc from a jcb loadall. Hydraulic locking pins too!
All 80x80x5 box section ( ex scrappy) and hyd rams from used stock. Hyd rams outers have been shortened to provide 6" movement, end 6 inch of ram shaft will not damage seals if dinged as it stays outside the ram.

looks like the back of an mft. That is a multi function tractor. Based on a 40 series ford or a 390 massey ferguson iirc.

yeh would say its a moffett aswell. looks a good job plenty stong enough

yep MFT on New Holland 7840. Bit of a dog when I got it but more useful now!

I have made 2 more of these in past for front of Kramer forklift so it could move loadall buckets too.

is the hyd locking mech. made from two rams or one ram that slides back and engages the other side when the rod hits the stopper?

Locking pins are 2 rams fixed to frame and each other in middle.

It's just what I had at the back of the workshop. They were 31.5mm diameter and pins for loadall are 32mm!

Next project was a set of folding spikes for big bales. I don't do a lot of roadwork but wanted to try this out as a safety modification and to gain a little lift height too!
Hope you can see the hinge, it is 18mm round bar through 30mm pipe with 5mm wall.
