Fork lift fork.

Hi all.
I have a JCB 3cx with a bent fork. The odd thing is it's bent at an acute angle ( previous owners). any ideas on bending it back to 90 degrees or whatever. A large press? I'd have to find one. O/A, but would that alter the material?

All I can say is good luck. I made a headstock to take pallet forks for my 2CX and I'm astonished at the distance they flex without breaking.

I had a length (7.5m) of 150x5mm box swinging about on the end of the fork and it flexed all over the place but just took it.

Once they’re bent they are technically scrap. By bending the fork back you will almost certainly weaken the metal and I believe they’re heat treated so by applying heat to the heel you’ll weaken it further.
If it’s your personal vehicle, repair at your peril. Best advice is buy a new pair, they’ve obviously been abused…
