Ford Falcon - change of fuel type!

This is a project I did in Adelaide in 2009. Temperatures reaching 40C by 9am and poisonous spiders love living in old cars!!!



One 1985 ish Ford Falcon. I already started taking bits off.



Dividing the car, that's the floor through



Get rid of the glass, got to reduce the weight

just how many hours a day did you spend in direct sunlight buddy???? hahahahaha

Tried to avoid the direct sunlight with full overalls, a big hat and using the tree and rigged up shade. Drinking heaps of water to keep head from cracking due to over heating! And starting work at 5am and working til 10am and then getting another hour or two in the evening. It's a hell of a place.

I also had to get a permit off the fire brigade so I could angle grind and weld outside during a fire ban!!!

Well it's a 48 hour commute if you go the cheapest route so i decided to go live there for 4 months while I did the project and have a bit of a holiday.

a street circus?? or just 2 blokes that wanted to cause traffic chaos?? lol

It was a commission by the Adelaide Fringe Festival to create them to be part of the Fringe Festival Opening Parade.

And you're right about the traffic chaos, the few times they ventured out on to public roads to move them about was very funny. They actually go OK, there are some video clips on youtube if you search Joseph Peace Crikes you should find them.

I got very confused at first when I saw those bright, sunny pictures and noticed your location was Somerset lol
I'm finding my e36 a bit thirsty, do you think you could carry out the same conversion on it?

you should have made it so the bike parts are slightly offset so you it'll join up and you can ride it as a full car, then split off
