For Repair Jasic Tig Machines

Jasic are now offering a 5 year warranty,which is good,I am lead to belive that ,if the machine breaks down during warranty,it needs to to back to the the maufactures for repair,and they are in Germany.Any thoughts

This comes to the question of "will the small 200 amp machine be sent to Germany for repair"

Definitely not made in Germany, they're Chinese. Buy enough of them and Jasic will brand for you in your own colours etc..
Look up Sherman welders being sold in Poland in eBay, most of them are Jasic. In fact they have an exact version of the Jasic TIG 200 AC DC mini but in blue and costs half as much

The T&Cs for the extended warranty say it needs to be serviced by Jasic/WS to be covered....
As Kent pointed out the other day, the regular services probably add up to the cost of a new machine on the lower end stuff.


We've had 2 different ones for about a year now, no problems, in and out of the van, covered in grinding dust, used in the rain, used flat out on AC...

As machines that are marketed for the UK, you have the backup of a UK firm in the form of Wilkinson Star.

Buy one off ebay, and who knows where it would need to go for a warranty claim.

The warranty is subject to the equipment being maintained in accordance with the details shown in the instruction manual. It is recommended that any maintenance be carried out by Wilkinson Star Limited, an authorised service partner or a suitably qualified competent person.
The cost of this service visit will be borne by the owner of the equipment.

No big deal for us, and I imagine many other professional users as we have an annual service/calibration on all the machines anyway, performed by the company we purchased them in most cases.

They have a good name with the car guys round here. I don't know any fabricators using them
They are said to be the best of the Chinese and remember a lot of American and eu stuff is made in China in bits or in full
