It's amazing how fast the tech for this is moving. A in the USA they had the driverless car competition but if you have seem how far Audi have come it's totally irrelevant event already. Fifth gear recently had the driverless RS7 vs RS& human around a race track in the wet and it was close.

Meanwhile, in other news, my 9 year old was told about a film that his classmate had seen, where killer robots wiped everyone out. He had nightmares for a couple of nights but felt much better when I told him; "Look, robots make cars and things, and they're dumb - they can't even climb stairs! So I can guarantee you that you'll be safe upstairs in your bedroom".
If he sees that video, he'll not sleep for a year...
