Food for thought??? more like indigestion bs!!! one thing I have noticed on the forum is, illegal oxy & acetylene cylinders are a definite no no [& quite rightly so I hasten to add] yet 'pub gas'' bottles which a large proportion are also owned by the brewerys seem to be fair game & as for gasbottle stoves [not counting flogas bottles]well it's actively encouraged!! food for thought eh!!

+1 , i had a stack of them and rang the gas company to ask what i could do with them , they had no answer but wouldn't take them back , so they can get stuffed.

With Calor .............. The refund deminishes from almost full deposit at the initial take out date to a few pennies after five years or so , after that there is no refund , no matter how much relevent paperwork you have.
Our local Welshgas company does not charge s service charge they don't want them. I know several farmers who have fifty or more stood like soldiers on parade in the weeds around the farm buildings. the local authorities want to charge an extortionate sum to take them away as restricted /controlled waste and the local scrappies won't take them either unless they are with out the valve ,certified degassed and steamed out .

Wierd, that! Every time someone on here has mentioned using a stihl saw - I've automatically been picturing a stihl chainsaw. Over time, I must've begun to believe there's a special chain for cutting steel, asphalt etc. Just thought I'd never seen 'em, 'cos I shop in the wrong places!

Hey, I don't think I'm tripping, but now I think about it, I'm sure I've seen footage of someone using a chainsaw to cut through a wall. Masonry, not studwork.
And a normal-looking sensible type of bloke - not some mad suicidal type.
