Fobco drill bearings

I just had delivered a fobco star and wasted no time in stripping it down to tidy up and replace the bearings. I got the quill out and removed the bearings from the spindle, but one of the bearings was knackered and had left the outer race in the quill. I've tried to get it out with no luck.

Had anyone got any ideas?

Remember when ordering new bearings to get good make in grade 10 they will set you back a bit more though

If you can run some weld around the inside when it cools it should contract loosening the bearing enough for removal.
