Flypress info please

I'm assuming they come in many various sizes but how are they measured ? By force ? By size ? By weight ?

I'm look for summat to do some fairly light weight bending/manipulation to make legs for stoves etc..........yes yes another YouTube addict (I've been off work for 5 weeks with viral meningitis) I found the clip on YouTube and fancied having a go at it. Don't want to spend the earth because after 5 weeks no work there ain't much earth left LOL

Plasma cutter is sitting idle, 3 welders sitting idle and the boss won't allow me back till the Dr gives the ok

Any constructive suggestions are much appreciated

The number of the flypress is supposed to indicate the approximate tonnage of force that it can apply. Flypresses come in standard and "deep throat" versions, deep throat flypresses are more useful if you need to punch holes etc. in middle of a panel. From my experience, you can pick up a flypress quite cheaply, but the tooling can be massively expensive; one of my current projects is to replicate a Hunton Bolster for my set up.
