HM - what grade wire do you use to prevent swelling of any flush-ground welds after galvanising? We tend to use low-silicate, but lately have been getting swollen welds again after they come back from the galvanisers. The galvanisers aint changed anything, so summats up!
Anyone clever enough to give me the technical reasons why this phenomenon occurs?![]()

Our stuff usully 0.5mm or so, barely feel it.
The worst bit is when you do something complexed, vent it all internally and make a smart job of it...
Send it away, and the galvanizers have gassed more vent holes all over it. And charged for the priveledge.![]()
