Flowmeters and guages

Anyone else use a side entry reg and have trouble with flowmeter butting up hard against the gauge body ?

I've had them hit the gauges before and had to tilt the flowmeter slightly off vertical so it's in front or behind the gauge, technically it's altering the calibration but not enough to worry about

Yeah mine is tilted forward, has been for ages and it bugs the he'll out of me, and calibration was my thoughts also, have been looking for a
f/m adaptor to extend it, none of the plumb merchants seem to carry them now, it's all push fit plastic rubbish these days

Why not tip the regulator so the meter can stay upright ? Meters don't care which way up they are you just have to move your head to look at the gauges.
