ask them if they have something like a car engine crane available to help load it, never lifted anything like that but I would think it would be safer with 3 or 4 people
I reckon on your own you could 'walk' that across a flat floor and lower it into a van, trailer, even an estate car.
Getting it back up out at the other end would need help though.
Problem is if it decides to start tipping. Once they start going, you're screwed. Two decently bloke'ish blokes should heft that well enough, I'd guess, or one bloke easily if broken down into main pieces.
Got it home, easy 2 man lift - you would need to be pretty built to do it on your own
Couple of pics - model is "SMF 1" or at least that is cast into the stand. Looks older than the typical "UR" range ones you see often, has a couple of nice features including an adjustable lower roller like the "Lazze" rollers only he adjusts the top one in and out - wonder if he got the idea of these old english ones.
