Ive had a clarke air 200l 18cfm 4hp compressor for 15 years, its been used and abused and recently has had enough!
motor bogs down as im guessing the pump gets hot, and the other day when plasma cutting it stalled completely.
I am ordering a new Air Industrial HW16, its actually not a bad price, looks much better quality, spins slower, should last a long time!
Im just wondering if throwing a new pump head on the old clarke compressor to have as a backup is worth it?
would this be worth a punt or is it too cheap?!
or would it be more like sense to spend a bit more on something with a brand name thats known at least?
