If you do not start the cut at 45 degress for the thickness of the radius on the leading edge then the 2 pieces will not fit together???? This is exactly what a masons mitre does and where there is a 45 degree portion on one end!

We are talking a few degrees for out of square rooms not huge angles.
Ie. Moving the far end of a 3m worktop towards the wall 10mm to close the gap.

Need to go completely off the jig stops for bigger changes as the pins will need moving in or out to accommodate the angle change.

Top tip, get someone else in to do it and save yourself a load of grief.
If you do decide to do your own, don't even think about using a jigsaw (the cut won't be true 90 degrees, so a decent joint is impossible)

One I did a while ago, room was so out-of-true if I'd cut the joints square the end of the bench would have been more than an inch off the wall !
Units ended less than 5mm from the doorway so the end of the bench had to be accurate within a couple of mm, no chance of a second attempt if it went wrong.
An offcut was trimmed to a few inches wide and jointed to the back of a standard bench profile to create the custom width breakfast bar.

Other option is the metal butt joints but they look gash.
Normally used in council properties for easy replacement

When I was young and skint I did my first worktops with a circular saw and did a 45d joint used plywood jointing strip to keep it together and matching colour fill worked out great.

Since upgraded to jig and router, plenty of vids on YouTube and the cutting one and marking the other off that one as described a couple of times previous in this thread takes any guess work out of walls being out.

I looked into getting them cut but was cheaper to buy router and jig and they get cheaper each time they are used.

Not sure if it’s still the case but you used to be able to hire the Jig and Router as a set from HSS (the overpriced hire shops) for not very much. Worth a look if you really want to have a pop at doing it yourself, and how I did mine a few years ago.
