fitting a euro torch to a clarke 151 en

hi there, have just bought a clarke 151 en to weld up my old sierra, am a welder to trade and prefer the euro torch i use at work to the one on the wee plant. i remember trying to fit the euro torch to my old sealey and if i remember correctly the euro torch had an extra wire in it ? i am going to bring a torch home from work and have a look tomorrow, so any help or advice greatly appreciated. feel kinda silly asking but any problems with ma welder at work and it gets sent away so dont see the technician to ask !

forgot to add, the reason i need to change the torch is it has been chewed by a dog and has been badly repaired, can get a torch from work and also anything i need for it, so much easier for me with a euro torch. have on old clarke (think its a 185, not sure) at work been stripped for bits, can i get anything i need off that ?

The Clarke will likely also have 2 wires for the trigger. If the old torch had only 1 qire then the other from the new torch would connect to the power lead to the torch.

You will also need to fit a gas solenoid.

thanks, will have a look at the two torches tomorrow and see what i can do.

You can get a euro conversion kit for the welder and fit a complete torch and cable along with the gas solenoid.
