Hello Folks
Sooo approx . 4 months ago I decided to start again to have some gym sessions ( 3 per week ) , because I wasn't feeling , well , I won't say bad , but not comfortable somehow .
I'm 30 years old , I don't drink and smoke and I try to stay healthy , but anyway something was missing .
I struggled expecially on sunday during my enduro dirtbike sessions , I wasn't capable to ride for more than 30 minutes , then everytime I slowly started to feel tired and breathing was difficult .
After 2 months of gym I had almost ZERO results , I mean my body woke up and I felt a bit more strong and agile during work days in the shop , but nothing I could reach staying home and running on my tapis roulant and having some stretching , same talking about dirtbike riding .
Then 2 months ago a friend of mine told me about a small group of his friends guided by an ex crossfit/gym trainer , they were/are used to meet 3 times per week for a 2 hours session each time .
So I said ' Hell yeah , I'm in ! ' .
And after 2 months of hard training with them I can only say ... holy cow !! .
Now I feel way more stronger and reactive , and I can ride my bike for almost 3 hours without problems .
Huge improvements also while working in the shop , in just 2 months .
We do have stretching , kickboxing , cardio , we use different equipment but no weights ( well we use only kettlebegs ) .
Waaay more funny than the gym ( which I left ) .
Then I took another step , my job plus fitness and bike riding requires more energy , and I like to stay healthy , so I decided to have a talk with a professional nutrionist , who has made a specific diet routine following my targets . I'll start it next week and it will take a month , then the medic will make some adjustments .
I don't want to become like Schwarzenegger , but I am still young , I want to enjoy life at 100 % , in my family we had some serious health problems also , so I don't want just to sit and wait .
Your experience ?
