Hi I got my gas from Hobby Gas agent. you can do a search. Argon/co2. deposit on bottle 60 pounds and 30 odd for the gas. Plus vat. Boc was an arm and a leg. want credit checks and rental every year. Another company Abee or something 180 for the bottle outright.. I found Hobby gas was the best for me as newbie. Low outlay and a lot of Gas.

Which gas deal is best for you depends on a lot of things. How big a cylinder and filled to what pressure. How their deal is structured and how much gas you use. How far you have to travel to their agents or whether you are in a position where it makes sense to have cylinders shipped around. Also on other things like whether you are interested in 10L, 20L or 30L cylinders.

I snapped up my clamps when Screwfix got out of welding the last time and were flogging them off for £7 a set. I bought 6 sets. Also second hand clamps are not to be despised, because the new ones very soon look second hand.
