There are other dog proof ways think outside the boxVery good for a first gate, if you are brush painting you will deffo hate scrolls by the time you are finished.
I have made hundreds of gates over the years and always hoped the customer would want something art deco or just not with scrolls but 95% wanted 'some nice scrolls that the dog can't get through'....yuk.

If they want it they can have it but I have always made my pitchI could not find a supplier of landmines and when the boss of the household is determined on 'some of those nice scroll things' it takes a lot of mind changing, easier to weld it up and take the cash, although there was of course the occasional one who listened and we both enjoyed the resulting gate or fencing.
Seek permission or beg forgiveness if caught? I should notvwant to workforce themin Newcastle , i would ask where i work , but they don't seem to be happy doing jobs for people anymore , got all the toys there but think its frowned upon from management
I still believe you are thinking it too difficult to bend cold by hand, here is some 40 x 8 flat bar and one of my bending jigs, I bent this today (no heat at all) to show how easy it is and the bend shown is a lot more than you would be requiring.
If you are getting into gates some home made jigs are easy to make and can produce good results after some practice.
