First ever welds - Feedback please!

So recently got my Mig and got it all set up with .8mm steel wire. Thought i'd upload my first ever few welds and see what you thought. Some of the welds are from travelling in a straight line, and some in a sort of loop pattern so you end up going back on yourself and back into the weld puddle (which i thought turned out better).

These welds are on 3mm steel square tubing, just welding one tube to another for now.








And for this one, ignore the splatter and unmolten wire on the right side, not too sure what it's about

Not bad, 3rd one looks like a pro's weld albeit its been done with a backwards and forwards motion.
Don't weave and faff round, just keep it in a straight line and weld. Concentrate on keeping a uniform weld leg length and make sure there's no undercut or excesive weld metal.

Thank you for the feedback. May I ask what the benefit is of weaving and welding with different 'patterns' I guess you could call it?

Looking good, there is absolutely no benefit to weaving, in fact you can be causing problems for yourself, stick to straight runs

Could you explain what those 3 things are when you get a few mins Paul??

Could not agree more. Better to multi run than weave a wide weld.
