Ninety quid, dunno if that's great value I guess it depends what's on fire! The big attraction for me is the sheer portability and therefore the greater chance of it being handy if you're going somewhere. Ideal for motorcycle aficionados. You could pop one in your rucksack at a bike meet and be a real hero!

I did pick up one for the 6x6. Being a big petrol V8 makes me slightly more nervous of fires than the diesel lumps I normally drive. Given it's a truck cab there's no space so this was very appealing. Actually would fit perfectly onto the B pillar behind the seat belt and be easy to access and not get in the way.

Ok for carrying in a vehicle I guess and better than nothing in an emergency.
But you have to get too close to the fire for it to be effective so I can see an inexperienced user getting injured trying to use it.
With a water, foam or powder extinguisher you can stand well back from the fire and control it.
