Fire extinguisher, as flue pipe for stove ?

I have just been offered an old steel CO2 extinguisher for use as a part of a chimney flue pipe for my gas bottle stove I am making for the shed.

Would there be any problens with this, and what would be the safe way to go about cutting it.

Can't see any reason why you can't use a co2 extinguisher ....they normally have dip tubes so release the pressure in the upright position....I would tape/cable tie the release handle open then cut ,but on lpg i usually slow drill with a lot of cutting fluid first,if your nervous perhaps drill first........

There's nothing flammable in them, make sure its empty then cut the ends off with a grinder with a thin disk

I know it is obvious, but needs saying... make sure it is completely empty
