Could someone enlighten me with the correct technique for doing these, i'm trying to weld 1mm square bar but my inside edge welds are very hit and miss ( about 1 good one in 3 )
If it's 25mm tube there looks a lot of weld there. Run straight down the joint instead of weaving unless you are filling a big gap in which case take more care when you are cutting

I have been weaving slightly which was more where i was after the advice really, i wasn't sure if i should be weaving or going straight, i tend to get more weld one side if i don't weave even if the joint is at the bottom
By upping the power a bit, it can be more forgiving if your technique isn't as good as it could be. Back when i was in my first year of training, i did literally 80 inside corner / t fillets a day and nearly all of them were crap... technique was fine, material was fine, gas and wire were all top standard, but i just didn't have enough power to make the joint radius equal, it would be fine on the top, and then sort of roll back in on it's self, because it wasn't getting enough power to fuse both. And like neil said, they don't look too bad.
