Fibreglass suppliers

Hi all, not sure if this is in the right place but it's a start. Apart from online is there anyone here from the Wiltshire/Devon/Somerset area who knows of a local supplier for fibreglass sundries. I only want a small bit at a time so online can be very expensive in postage. At the moment I need some flowcoat for a repair and whilst the carriage is only £6.72 it makes up 1/3rd of the total price.

A bit far away but I could pop in if we have a Cornish holiday this year I'm sure SWMBO wouldn't notice an extra suitcase.

I'm sort of near Bath, Yeovil or Salisbury which if you look on a map is a big area of not a lot. A real PITA when you need something.

How about a localish boat yard ? Turn up with a tin of biccies and an empty pot, you never know

I thought of that but we are a long way from the sea as well. A couple of canals and they may have workshops that may be able to help so I may use that as an excuse to take my bike out for a nice long run around the west country. The down side is the fuel will cost more than the postage but what the hell, it's a day out on the bike

1 maybe 2 kg and either white or black. I've found at least one boatyard on the canals not too far away so I'm thinking of dropping by tomorrow just to explore the options. However I'm looking more for options for future possible projects.

Have you looked up things that use fibreglass and made near you?
I found a place that made what looked like fibreglass septic tanks and were about 10 miles from me, I got
all the stuff to make molds from them.
They also told me there is/was a fibreglass distributor in Crawley and a surf board maker close to where I live.

Used to have glass fibre parts manufacturers near where I live (closed down years ago). I used to go down with plastic jars / tubs and get small quantities of gelcoat, polyester resins, catalyst, core mat, glass tissue etc when I used to make parts for my bikes.
Have a look on Yell for local suppliers.
If I wanted some now I would order it from CFS.
