photos and writing not quite as I planed BUT......
as we were talking about storage of nut's and bolt, thought I'd show what I've done....all the drawer's lift off on what we called in California "French cleats" it does make life a lot easyer........on 1 side it's St/Steel and the other BZP.......small stuff, 4mm at the top prog gettin bigger and heavyer as they get lower.......
as for the welding bench, well what can I say......I do have an 8'x4'x10mm flat bench for the welding but the 1 above is just for small jobs, all the tray's and the welder are on ball bearings......2 of the trays are for those handy liitle bits o metal that'll come in handy and the others are for hammers and chisels etc etc.......the bench weigh's in at around 1/2 ton so have to move it with a pallet truck..........only thing I'd like would be to have a flypess 3 times the size but then I'd need to build a bigger bench.........
bit stuck for room here but waiting for the new place.......cheers Frank hope to hell this all turns out OK never put photo's on here before........oh well........in for a penny........hahaha
as it happens everything is on wheels or u can move it with a pallet truck in the shop, even the cupboard's..........every once in a while I'll have a purge, get everything outside, lathes an all and then find the things I didn't know I'd lost and have a damm good sweep up.......
make me feel good....hahaha.........
origionally I had intended to buy the clip-on bins as Screwdriver has but they worked out to expensive..........so set up the saw bench and jiged up to make the wooden tray's........back, bottom and ends are 3/4 with the dividers 1/2, all glued and screwed.....
I'll know if I did it right when I open the truck after the move........hahaha......as for the drawer's on the bench they have a stay holding them closed for the same reason, open from both sides, 3/4 shuttering ply for the side's, end's and the bottom's all screwed and glued.........suit's me..........tara........
Frank
