What are you doing with it? It looks like the kind of drill for heavy construction work and steel erectors. If you are doing that kind of work it would be worth buying but if you are doing the kind of hobby welding a lot of us do it is way too much. An ordinary corded drill is up to most things and a drill press for static work.

It has a number 2 morse taper fitting for the drills. You would need to get a chuck with a No.2 morse taper shaft on it to be able to use ordinary round shank drills.
