feeder down

the inch and trigger do not work, the rest light up, inc gas purge and all displays
the feeder is labelled trans mig as is the power pack transmig 400sp, twin pulse, these as i understand were made by Lorch for downunder
i see no fuse protect in the feeder case , two in right side lkg at power pack which are ok
the feeder lay on it side as i worked on threading the wire and for some reason the motor ran in jerks on n off,
Flamin nuisense as i start newbuild 46 foot cruiser
so now have to use the 455 redimig, it has the remote feeder and is a stepped machine
any help would surely be welcome

G'day everyone, I bought a second hand mig welder about a year ago which has turned out to be quite a nice machine overall but it has this one issue where it just all of a sudden starts feeding the wire out as fast as it possible can? It's usually a pretty rare occurrence so I haven't been able to pinpoint any reasons for why it might be starting sadly. I've taken it into the shop to get them to see if they can work out what the go is but of course the machine is working perfectly on there now so I thought I'd come here for some ideas.

So you could be welding away just fine and then all...

thanks mate, reckon gotta find a CIG repair guy, found 2 more fuses in the power pack all, ok but none in the feeder
