I'm getting to like the Katsu tools, decent quality, great value and compatible with my Makita 18v batteries.
The latest arrival is a soldering station, not a lot to say - it just does what it needs to.
The digital display is handy and the tip heats up in seconds ( both are a big step up in technology from my collection of old-school 240v soldering irons that I've always used in the past).

Summary: Recommended
Something else I looked at for portable soldering is the gas (lighter fluid??) types, they may be handy for small work but I suspect they won't have the power of the cordless types.
