This is a height adjustable press frame. Used in conjunction with a bottle jack or porter power ram..etc. for pushing bearings in/out, bending plates maybe.

Two 15 mm all thread rods one either end , six plain 15 mm nuts a, four 15mm flat washers and a home made hollow box spanner or a pair of them with winding handles ....... to lift the bed to position before you slip the cross bolts pins in ?

Swap the ram for a double action one and use it to lift the bed up?

Sounds like a good start.
When I'm lifting truck axles back under springs etc. I use threaded rod, so much easier and controllable than a jack so I have plenty of that lying around.
