i set up a facebook page so i had a place to post pictures of some of the work ive been doing https://www.facebook.com/pages/A-TM-Engineering/135268766543890 just thought i would share it here as easier than uploading lots of different pictures etc

you can knock up your own web site for next to nothing now days

yes a website is definatly on my to sort list but i will have to get someone to build it and Ive been spending all my money on more machinery and tools however i must sort one to be able to use it for advertising purposes too

i use a wordpress site for my stuff cheap to set up and really easy to use.

theres a cheap www.mrsite.co.uk package that will get you started buy the domain name elsewhere as mrsite charge a fare bit when you want to leave

Always buy your own domain, and never put your hosting and domain under the same supplier. This gives you much more flexibility to do as you please.

Depending on what you want the site to do depends on what will be the best choice for you. Wordpress is not a CMS it is a blogging platform. If you need a CMS then use one.

Personally, I use a wordpress install for my tech blog and a hand coded site for my non blog stuff. CMSMS isn't a bad choice for a simple site. MODx for something more fully fledged.

A website has to be next on my list of things to get sorted as like i said i could use it for advertising a bit too once its up and running
