F Pollard, model Corona 4c pillar drill

Hi,
I have recently purchased an old pillar drill F Pollard model corona 4C, it’s a very old floor standing pillar drill, I’m stripping her down to give her a good clean down for sandblasting at the moment. Will be restoring her, does anyone have any information on these drills or know where I can find Manuals or parts for that matter? this is probably a long shot as I cannot find anything at the moment but help would be appreciated!

You may struggle to find a manual. The machine is old. Look at https://www.gracesguide.co.uk/Frederick_Pollard_and_Co The first picture is from 1918 and shows a 5C model, so yours is likely to be of the same vintage.

Have a sniff around for old Jones and Shipman drills. Jones, Pollard and Shipman were all as one until they separated. The 'New Century' one here https://www.gracesguide.co.uk/A._A._Jones_and_Shipman is virtually indistinguishable from the Pollard one.

Lots of very similar camelback drills in America. Lots of YT videos on the breed. Early Keith Fenner video. Lots of general info. to be found at http://vintagemachinery.org/ Look on archive.org for contemporaneous machine shop textbooks.

Take plenty of pictures. Take it apart sympathetically. You will have to make the parts.

Very cool drill, I have a lot of time for Pollards, especially the later geared head Coronas which are way overbuilt.
Looks like it has power feed? Which is very nice. I also like those ratchet type quill levers.
