Wife got the kids a slide for the garden the other day! Right pain to put together... and then found that the steps were too far apart for them to actually climb up it! See here for slide!. So, decided to build an extra set of steps that would be a bit easier to climb. I could have probably done an easier job, but had fun anyway! The new steps are a lot closer together, giving a small child half a chance of actually getting to the top! and a slightly shallower angle (54deg rather than 72deg for the ones that came with it).... I had to drag out my GCSE maths to workout some of the angles for the cuts!!
