I have had a three month plus nightmare with ******** Exhausts over some bespoke manifolds I asked for. As they made a complete mess of the job, I have rejected them and have fallen back to some dealer supplied ones which are still wrong, but at least they have only cost me £400 instead of twice that! The issue is that the offside exhaust manifold comes out too far which pushes the system well out of line. I have been told to cut the hangers off the chassis and reweld, but I'm not doing that.
My thoughts are that I now need a dog leg making in one piece of 304, 60mm offset and about 150mm long to join manifold to pipe. I have had an offer by another exhaust company to weld two elbows together but that would look silly and cock up the flow of course. I can cut up to another 70mm off the downpipe if it helps to keep the bends reasonable. Output is 47mm OD and pipe is 44mm OD.
