evolutiuon rage 3

ok so I was fitting some skirting for my mate last night and used the bevel function of the sliding rage saw.

BUT with the bevel angle set the blade does not slide all the way back to the fence without cutting through it!

So now I have a 45 degree piece missing out of the rear of the fence guide, what kind of design is this?

any one else experienced this?

first time I have used the bevel function on this saw my old rexon one didn't have this problem

(7.5) THE SLIDING UPPER FENCE SECTION


The Left Hand side of the Fence has an adjustable upper section.

Adjustment may be necessary to provide clearance for the

moving Cutting Head when acute bevel or compound angles

are selected.

Also, these saws (in common with many of the cheaper sliders) won't let you cut a full width rebate because the fence is too far back in relation to the centerline of the blade - you either have to faff about turning the stock or pack it out and lose a bucketful of capacity...
