I have an Evolution chopsaw which has a multi purpose blade fitted. I’m looking for a blade which is more specific to cutting thicker metal.
Any ideas which blade might be best?
I have both the Evo 300mm chop saw and the biggest circ saw they make......
I use he circ saw just to take material from the stock pile.....usually 200-250x8mm and it has no trouble at all....blade life is great..
I only use the chop saw for stuff like scaffold poles etc...having a 12" bandsaw for the big stuff.....
I cant carry, let alone lift 6m lengths of the above anymore...
Cermet blades produce a clean, cool cut with minimal vibration. Cermet tipped, they offer 20% longer life compared to abrasive cutting discs and perform 40% better than TCT blades. A practically spark-free, burr-free cut.
