I don't know how to ac tig but that was bouncing all over.

Your right mate that’s awful. It had no clue where the hell it was meant to be and he didn’t help it stuffing that rod across the arc. I’d expect that at 5-15 amps but at 120 that should be rock solid. Crap machine I wouldn’t bother with it.

The whole guy is shocking.
I have a Everlast (or at least a Everlast Clone) 325EXT, and it's AC arc is nowhere near as fluttery as this seems to be.
Also my old Freetech 200 (which was also a Everlast under a different name also had a very nice arc to it on AC.
So I am guessing something is up with his video/technique or this particular machine.

Istr Everlast had a bit of a bad rep on another forum or two across the pond for product placement and general letting down of customers for warranty work.
I wonder if it's got any better.
Certainly, the fairly strong whiff of BS from that video almost had me opening the windows to air out the room.

Chucky2009/Lanse is nothing but a whole lot of hot air, and it's product placements/endorsements are shocking to say the least.
If you look at the Weld.com video's with Bob Moffatt, or Welding Tips and Tricks with Jody, product placement is minimal on the weld.com ones, and not annoying on Jodys video's (Yes he uses a Tig finger, and also sells them, but he keeps the advertisments near the back, not smack in the middle of every video raving on like a bellend like Lanse.

Maybe that particular machine has an exemplar fault.
