red raw beginner here,doing a bit of research before i buy my first welder.

are all euro torches non-live?

Welcome to the forum.

Whether a torch is live or not depends on the welder itself, not the torch. Given that Euro torches tend to be fitted to the better machines it's most likely that these will have non-live torches.

There is always the possibility that someone has retro-fitted a Euro torch to a cheapy machine though.

the unit i was interested in doesnt state which orientation the torch is,so i have emailed the seller
