Some machines have a torch which is hard wired in. To remove it you have to get inside the machine and undo things...
A Euro torch is quick connected by one big screw ring. All connections - gas, control, weld current are automatic (wire still has to be fed through). Much easier to replace the liners. You can remove a Euro torch in seconds. But for most diy users, it doesn't matter!
