EURO Conversion wiring help on Lincoln 180C

Morning guys

Started fitting my EURO conversion to my Lincoln 180C last night

Understand how to physically fit the thing, but I have an issue with wiring!

Got no pictures at the moment but let me explain....

There was one wire going to the original torch, which I think was for the trigger, and on the back of the torch setup inside the machine, there was one thick wire, with 2 smaller wires bolted up together.

Now, the Euro adaptor only has 2 small wires coming from it, and then you can bolt a wire to the centre peice.....

I will asume the 3 wires will continue to be bolted together, and on the centre peice of the euro adaptor... but what happens regarding the one wire left on the MIG, when there are 2 wires left over for the Euro torch?

If there is only one wire on the original torch, then the torch switches the trigger to the main power feed. The euro connector brings both back to the machine.

Connect one where the original went, the other to where the main power goes.

Odd, the 180C here has a removable torch (similar to Tweco) with a 4-pin connector for the trigger.

Thanks, where abouts would that need to be then?

And I take it that the 3 wires which are bolted together will stay the same?

All I know is that it has 2 wires for the motorfeed, 2 wires going to the gas valve, 1 wire to a spade for the trigger and 3 wires (one thick, two thin) which were bolted onto the setup

One trigger where to where the old one went. The other trigger wire to the 3 were bolted together.
