Hi all,
I'm new to the forums but I've been lurking in the background for quite a while now. (loads of really useful info on here) I wondered if any of you could tell me how is the best way to cure a problem I have with my welder?
I've had a Sealey supermig 180/1 for quite a few years now and last year I changed the torch because of wear and tear. I changed the coogar 5 cylinder yesterday and now when I switch the gas on it constantly flows out of the torch (regulator has not been touched at all) and will not stop no matter how much I trigger it or tap it.
I've had a look at the inside of the torch but it seems as though the gas vallve is sealed and therefore I cant clean/inspect it.
Any ideas of what I can do?
Also, If I have to get a new torch I'd like to put a euro connector on but my set would need an adapter of some sort, is this possible considering the age of my welder?
sorry to be long winded on my first post
