ERP 180 Turbo Mig

I have this welder and I was wondering is this exactly the same as the Sealey machine? I'm asking because I may be looking for some parts for it and if it is the same as the sealey then surely the parts will be easier to get hold of?

I have been thinking about converting to a euro torch because the current torch is very sensitive, I only have to touch the trigger and it starts up. I have tried to find a torch like this but as yet I have been unsuccessful. Do you think it would be worth doing? and if so, what type of torch would be best? This is the current torch

Looking at the front panel, it seems someone has half-way attempted fitting a euro connector already.

The case and handle looks like my old Einhell SGA175, does the wirefeed unit look like this? Is the trigger spring missing?

I'll have to check the wirefeed unit tomorrow. Thanks. The trigger spring is still in place, it's a flat piece of metal bent in a couple of places. I have bent it slightly to create a bit more tension and it has helped but it's still not ideal, hence the plan to convert it.

Now I think about it the trigger on my Einhell felt very light and sensitive when I first started using it compared to the Cebora I had but that was 23 years ago! You should be able to replace the switch easily as the torch looks like a Binzel design. I had plans to fit a Euro torch and Portamig wirefeed unit to my Einhell, in the end I decided to put the money towards a Portamig 215. The Parweld MB15 torch that Weldequip supplied for the Portamig is nice to use, especially with the steel liner as it is very flexible.
