brand A epoxy with brand B thinner?

I don't know for certain, but my feeling is that like other types, epoxy thinner is epoxy thinner.

I've done it without issues. Even used 2k thinner in epoxy and it was fine

As long as it's proper paint epoxy thinner it will be fine. I bought a tin of HB Body epoxy thinner and used it with HB Body epoxy, Lechler epoxy and some other one I forgot the name of.
